This November 6-8, EcoAdapt's Jennie Hoffman and Jessi Kershner will join several other vulnerability assessment experts in offering a vulnerability assessment training based on the award winning publication "Scanning the Conservation Horizon: A Guide to Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment" (www.nwf.org/vulnerabilityguide). The course is designed to guide conservation and resource management practitioners in methods for assessing the vulnerability of the species, places and practices they care about to climate change, a critical step in undertaking and climate change planning or implementation. The course has previously been offered at the National Conservation Training Center and in six other states. This particular offering is sponsored by the California Landscape Conservation Cooperative.
